When you’re older
I didn’t notice but we must tell Ellie that she’ll like certain things when she’s older a lot. Example: She doesn’t like certain foods, ‘don’t worry you’ll like them better when you get older’. Or she asks us why grown ups like to watch boring things on TV, ‘Well when you’re older you’ll like to watch those things too’ etc.
Yesterday we were all sitting at the table and she was complaining that Daddy was yelling at her too much all day. Then, because she’s an uppity lil thing she said if he doesn’t stop she’s going to hit him over the head with a toaster pan. (I don’t know what a toaster pan is but she seemed to). I told her I don’t think daddy will like that very much at all and she says, “Don’t worry he’ll like it when he’s older.”
