How did this happen? I read over the post I made last year at her 5th birthday and here I am trying to make sense of the fact that an entire year has yet again flown by.
My little girl is so big! She is doing so well in school and is the smartest kid in class! I know because I help out every Wednesday and my observation of her being the brightest kid is obviously completely unbiased.
She is a big sister now and such a good one. No wonder Mara loves her and squeals and smiles everytime big sis Ellie walks into the room. She is an awesome kid!
heather: hi ellie
ellie: hi mom
heather: wut are you doing?
ellie: im playen nickjr.com
heather: oh fun!
ellie: rele fun
heather: wut game are you playing?
ellie: my nickjr coloring book
heather: cool
I love you baby!
ellie: yep yep yep i love you too mom
Whenever you “talk” to Mara you push your mouth right up against my tummy and yell things at her. It’s too funny. It comes out all mummbled but you insist that is the only way she can hear you.
I can’t wait to see you as a big sister!
Ellie told us she LOVES going to the bowling isles.
Not bowling lanes mind you… bowling isles.
Myjoha: mom we learned who was at the first Thanksgiving.
Me: Ok… who all was there?
Myjoha: All of the native Americans and the…. the…
Me: (trying to help her find the word..) The P-p—pii
Myjoha: OH YA! All the native Americans and all the pelicans.
